Target Marketing Award Winners Hit Their Mark
More than 80 guests and employees attended SouthComm Publishing and Targeting Marketing’s first annual awards banquet held on April 11.
Online PR News – 22-April-2015 – Florence, KY – Tyler Shepard, of Union, KY, was the 2014 Sales Associate of the Year. It was one of several awards announced by Target Marketing Inc. (TMI) and SouthComm Publishing (SCP) at its first annual awards banquet at the Double Tree Hilton Airport Hotel held on April 11.
“The recipients of our awards were great examples of professionalism, outstanding sales and marketing achievements in 2014,” stated Philip Hageman, President and CEO of Target Marketing and SouthComm Custom Publishing. Hageman continued, “We haven’t had or focused on recognizing our people and an amazingly vested team that takes great pride in their work. It was long overdue, but also a long road to setting standards and exceeding our goals. The Rob Lischer Award: Most companies have the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award. Rob Lischer has been with the company for more than 20 years and he continually sets the bar high for his dedication, integrity, work ethics and being the best team player for Target Marketing. Lischer was shocked and honored to have his name attached to this award. This year, the Rob Lischer Award was presented to Rachel O’Hara, of Erlanger, KY.
Designer of the Year: Darren Hinerman from SouthComm Publishing, of White, GA, received this high honor for numerous magazine layouts and designs recognized by several state and local organizations.
2014 Sales Associate of the Year: Tyler Shepard, of Union, KY. In 2014 Shepard set the sales standards for Target Marketing. He won a well-deserved week long trip for two to an exclusive and “all inclusive” to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

3rd Place Sales Associate of the Year: Jamen Purvis, of Independence, KY
4th Place Sales Associate of the Year: Danielle Foltz, of Newport, KY

Shooting Star Sales Associate: Gary Vaughn, of Hebron, KY
Most Improved Sales Associate: Allen Reed, of Villa Hills, KY
Support/Production Associate of the Year: Christine Celsor, Cincinnati, OH
